Apparently, everyone else read the same Seattle P-I article about the Cherry Blossoms being in full bloom at the University of Washington Quad. This sunday it was almost as busy as a weekday on campus, but everyone had a camera instead of a bookbag.

Pros and amateurs alike were taking pictures of the glorious Yoshino Cherry trees in bloom. It was definitely the peak, as there were few petals on the ground yet. There were also pink cherries in bloom along the way to Drumheller Fountain as well.

Also took Cohen to explore Gasworks Park. While a great view of Lake Union and the downtown Seattle skyline, the angle (due south) makes photography in the middle of the day tough due to the haze and reflection of the water. I would like to revisit on a summer afternoon.
